On September 9, 2007, Interim Minister Julie Forest delivered this sermon on The Prodigal Returning.  This occurred at the end of a week of re-enrolling children for school, and on a Sunday in which RE re-enrollment for Fall was occurring.  The sermon's subject:  The wisdom of the child who stayed; the wisdom of the child who left; the folly of the parent, as we turn and return.

Who's that knocking on my door?  Have I heard that knock before?  Evil comes in many disguises, often to keep us fooled.  Interim Minister Julie Forest presented this sermon at the Sunday Service on Sunday, August 26, 2007. Hymns on that Sunday included "Now Let Us Sing", "Guide My Feet", and "Wake Now My Senses".  Immediately preceding the sermon was a reading by Rev. Julie Forest and worship associate Nancy Baran, called "God, Satan and French Fries."
